AqBanking Package Repository Offline

Some days ago the GPG key for the AqBanking Package Repository on alioth expired. This shifted the repository back to my attention, and I discovered that I haven't uploaded any packages to it for a while. The reason is that I am now able to upload to www.backports.org, which provides much better service than this Repository because it provides packages for all CPU architectures supported by Debian. Hence I decided to not continue the AqBanking Package Repository any more. Please follow the instructions on www.backports.org to install newer packages of the AqBanking family.

AqBanking on backports.org

I managed to get upload privileges for www.backports.org. This makes the packages backported for Debian Lenny (those in the directory /debian/lenny/) redundant, so I decided to do future uploads of packages backported for Debian Lenny to www.backports.org only. The benefit is that AqBanking backports are now available for all architectures supported by Debian, and not only for the one I'm building my packages on (i386).

So, if you are using Debian Lenny and want automatic updates of AqBanking in the future, please make sure you have read the instructions and use the APT repository on www.backports.org.

AqBanking 4.1.0 in unstable

Some days ago I've uploaded AqBanking 4.1.0 to unstable. Upgrades from AqBanking 3.x need again a configuration upgrade. Please run once qbankmanager to do this as comfortable as possible. All other AqBanking applications should offer the configuration upgrade too, but are yet not ready to do so. Stay tuned for updates on this issue.

AqBanking packaging website online

I've finally managed to setup a tiny webpage for the AqBanking related Debian packages. The layout still has issues, but the main reason for the launch of this webpage was to provide a RSS feed on updates regarding the AqBanking packaging for Debian. This is available by now!
